Views is  the icon for helping  images or profiles  inside the file .

If you wanted to see image but it is inside an PDF  so when you see above you will find an  icon views where there is an application know as extra large when you click it  you can see  the font of Pdf big and also you can see the image 

in this icon there are many applications like : extra large, large , medium and small

it is used for making your storage small

Large
the application large is for making you storage means the  folder will be small but the inside storage image of application will be seen

small 
it is for making you  folder or image very small  and in application nothing will be seen like the image .
